Accessibility statement

Corvus Homes builds and operates this website for The Belvedere Tower. We want a guest researching a ninety-day stay to be able to read every page, use the availability calendar, and reach us — whatever they browse with.

Service animals

This part is about the residence rather than the website, and it is the thing worth saying first. A service animal is not a pet, and none of our pet terms apply to one. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act, a service animal is a dog individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. If that is your dog, it is welcome here, and there is nothing you need to arrange before you arrive.

The ADA also covers trained miniature horses, under a separate and narrower provision. If that is your situation, get in touch and we will work through it with you.

Assistance animals that are not service animals

Emotional-support, comfort, and therapy animals are a different category under the ADA, and this policy does not cover them. That is not a no. Write or call us, tell us about your animal and your stay, and we will work out what we can do.

Animals at the residence

If a working animal, an allergy, or a fear response makes this matter to you, please ask us before you book. The Observatory is the entire one-bedroom home — not a room in a shared house — and it is pet-friendly, so guests may bring their own pets. Beyond that we have not published anything about animals that live at the property or use the building's shared spaces, and we would rather you hear it from us than guess. Email or call, and we will tell you plainly what to expect in the residence and anywhere in the building you would pass through.

The standard we measure against

We hold this site to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That covers text contrast, keyboard operation, visible focus, meaningful image descriptions, correct headings and landmarks, and respecting a reduced-motion preference.

Where we currently stand

This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and we are actively remediating. Partially conformant means most of the site meets the standard and some parts do not yet. Known gaps we are working on:

Tell us about a barrier

If any part of this site keeps you from finding what you need, or from getting in touch, please tell us. Describing the page and what happened helps, but a sentence is plenty — we will come back to you for the rest.

A person on our team — not a ticketing queue — reads these. We aim to acknowledge every report within two business days, tell you what we found, and either fix it or give you a working way around it while we do.
